Prior to joining the Line Team at Heartland Aviation, Mike Ackerley worked for three years on the line at Wisconsin Aviation in Madison, Wisconsin. Mike holds a Private Pilot Certificate with an Instrument rating, and most recently became type rated in the Citation III/VII. Mike has grown up around the aviation industry, earning his certificate at the age of 17.
