Gene is a line mechanic. He grew up in Durand, Wisconsin and graduated from Durand High School. With an interest in airplanes, Gene pursued an airframe and powerplant certificate from Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Gene has worked for Rochester Aviation, Beechcraft in Wichita, Heartland, Northwest Airlines, and then Heartland again. When Gene is not working on airplanes he is outdoors doing something fun like riding ATVs, boating, fishing, hunting, or camping. Gene has 3 boys. He is also in the process of restoring a Cessna 140 for his personal use.
