Paul grew up in Superior, Wisconsin and received his Airframe and Powerplant certification from Colorado Aero Tech in Broomfield, Colorado. After school, Paul returned to Wisconsin to work as a mechanic for Aviation Services, Inc., in Marshfield. After ASI, Paul was recruited as a mechanic at Heartland in 1995 and became the Director of Maintenance in 2006. Paul has 6 children and in his off time enjoys hunting, camping, and hanging around airplanes.
